If you are looking to adopt a Yorkshire Terrier in Port Elizabeth, meet Molly! At just 4 months old and weighing a tiny 2kg, this beautiful baby girl is searching for an incredibly special, patient, and dedicated forever home. Molly was originally brought in to comfort a teenager going through a difficult family transition, but unfortunately, she developed separation anxiety that her current family is unable to manage. To add to her stress, she was recently attacked by a larger dog. While she miraculously escaped physical injury, the trauma has left her feeling very insecure and fearful of being left alone.

Molly is an absolute sweetheart who is bursting with typical puppy energy and affection when she feels safe. She wants nothing more than to be glued to your side, soaking up all the love you have to give. Because of her separation anxiety, she cries continuously when left alone. Her current owner has recently started working, meaning Molly is left crying inside throughout the day. This is an incredibly urgent rescue situation; Molly desperately needs an environment where someone is physically present 24/7 to reassure her, keep her safe, and help her build her confidence.

As she is still a very young puppy, Molly has not yet been house-trained. Her new family will need to take immediate responsibility for completing her full puppy vaccination schedule and arranging her sterilization once she reaches the appropriate age. Could you be Molly's furever home?

Temperament: Incredibly loving, affectionate, and full of puppy energy, but currently struggles with separation anxiety and needs gentle reassurance.
Good with Dogs: Needs very careful introduction. She was recently attacked by a much bigger dog; though she was uninjured, she may be fearful of larger or high-energy dogs. Calm, gentle dogs only.
Good with Cats: Excellent.
Good with Children: Excellent. She is wonderful with kids, though a calm household is preferred to help with her anxiety.
Housetraining: No, she is not house-trained yet and will require patient, consistent puppy training.
Health/Special Needs: Molly has separation anxiety and must go to a home where someone is home 24/7. Completing her vaccinations and sterilization is a strict condition of adoption.
