Max is looking for a new forever home through no fault of his own. He currently lives with two older, much smaller doggies (aged 7 and 15). Because Max is still a young puppy, his high energy levels are simply too much for his senior housemates. To add to this, his family is relocating and they want the absolute best for Max and know he will thrive in a home that can match his wonderful, active spirit.
This social butterfly loves spending his days playing outside and catching toys, but when night falls, he is a true indoor baby. Max is used to sleeping cuddled up right on the bed with his humans. Age: 10 months old (Puppy)
Temperament: Highly energetic, incredibly playful, social, and exceptionally affectionate. He absolutely loves giving hugs and playing catch.
Good with Dogs: Excellent. However, because of his high puppy energy, he needs to be matched with active, playful dogs who can handle his exuberance, rather than elderly or frail dogs.
Good with Cats: Unknown.
Good with Children: Excellent! Max loves children and makes a wonderful, fun-loving playmate.
Housetraining: Still in training. As a young puppy, Max is still learning his toilet manners and will need a patient family willing to guide him with positive reinforcement.
Health/Special Needs: Excellent health condition. Max is sterilized.
He is not used to walking on a leash, so some gentle leash training will be required.Ideal Home: Max needs an active, loving home with a family who has the time and energy to dedicate to puppy training, walks, and lots of play. Please Note: Max is a verified escape artist who has previously slipped through gates and tried to run through open doors. Therefore, an exceptionally secure property with high walls and secure gates is a strict requirement to keep this clever boy safe.
